How can counselling help you?

hannah bolton counselling

Hi I’m Hannah welcome to my website. I am a qualified Person Centred Counsellor. I offer face to face, online and telephone counselling for children, adolescents, adults and couples. I am a member of the National Counselling Society and have a registered DBS Check. I cover areas such as Alsager, Kidsgrove, Church Lawton, Sandbach, Haslington and Crewe. I work from Alsager, Cheshire.

Alongside my counselling practice I have also worked within the NHS for 13 years in very challenging environments. I feel that my personal and professional experiences have strengthened my ability as a counsellor and allows me to be more relatable to you. This in turn helps to improve your mental health and well-being, creating a positive effect on clients in moving forward with their lives.

Reaching out for counselling can feel daunting, I would like to reassure you I am here to offer you a safe space free of judgement to explore your thoughts and feelings. I am very much client led, valuing you as an individual with your own experiences. As we work together our aim is to empower you to find solutions to any issues you bring to therapy.

What to expect

Once you have made contact, I can contact you to go through any questions you may have and if you are happy to book an appointment we can arrange this together.

There is no right or wrong to counselling sessions and everything is done at your pace. I describe counselling almost like looking at a jigsaw puzzle, adding pieces as we go along. The first session provides the time and space to go through your circumstances and how you feel this is impacting on you. The sessions following this allow us to work with your emotions, breaking this down leading to how we can help make positive changes for the future. There is no limit to how many sessions you have, you can have as many or as little as you want.

If you feel counselling may be the right step forward for you, please feel free to contact me. I’m here to be with you side by side through your own counselling journey.
