Grief and loss are unique to every individual, there is no right or wrong to how you feel. Grief doesn’t have a timeline and doesn’t always follow a pattern. You can go through a variety of emotions at any given time. I would like to reassure you there is no ‘normal’ to thoughts and feelings around grief.

There is no agenda or expectations with bereavement counselling. It gives you the time and space to process how you are feeling and focus on areas you would like to discuss. The sessions are very much client led where your needs are fully considered.

Bereavement counselling for children can be different, the sessions are catered to every child or adolescent. Sessions are always age appropriate and may include things such as; art therapy, creating memory boxes, and allowing space to talk about the loved one they have lost.

As a counsellor supporting individuals through grief is a passion of mine. I have personally had several losses in my life which encouraged me to want to help others at an incredibly difficult time.

Professionally I have also completed extra study through a grief and bereavement diploma. Through both personal and professional experience I feel confident to offer you bereavement support no matter your circumstances.
